A short note on cookies.
We use a small number of cookies to make the site work and to understand which pages help people the most. That is the whole story, but here are the details in full.
What cookies are.

These cookies are required for the website to work. They cannot be switched off.
- ts_cookie. Records your cookie choice so you are not asked again on every page. Expires after 12 months.
Analytics cookies.
These help us understand which pages help people the most. They are set only if you accept them on the banner.
- Anonymised page views. A minimal analytics setup that records which pages are visited, roughly where visitors came from, and what device was used. Data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.
We do not use marketing, advertising, retargeting or fingerprinting cookies.
Third-party cookies.
A small number of features on the site are provided by third parties, and those parties may set their own cookies.
- Google Fonts. The typefaces Newsreader and Work Sans are served from Google Fonts. Google may log the request in accordance with its own privacy policy.
- Formspree. If you submit the contact form, Formspree processes the submission on our behalf. It may set functional cookies to prevent spam.
How to manage cookies.
You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser. The banner will then reappear on your next visit.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies at the browser level. Instructions are available in your browser's help section. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of this site from working properly.
